I'm so excited for what's happening right now in my life and in my heart
if I tried to explain it, it might not make sense- because there's so much. and my thought process is usually a little weird to other people- but here's a piece :)
I'm in Nashville, TN right now. Tomorrow I'll get to see for the first time and first hand my 'dream job'. I'm going to a concert and will get to see Mercy Ministries (www.mercyministries.org) . The first time I heard about this ministry- in 2005- at Girls of Grace- I fell in love. . . with the work they do, the girls they serve, and the God they portray.. it's my heart's desire. It's what I want to do- minister and love young women right where they're at- and help them get to a place where they can understand just how worthy, and precious, and valuable they are to God and the world. If not there, then somewhere- but learning about the ministry for the first time started to grow that hope and desire in me and it hasn't stopped.
I was talking to a good friend about this today and saw how for the past 3 years God's been opening doors to make this trip happen today.
and I'm so excited for whatever may come!

Okay, so you're going to think this is really weird, but I'm a Mercy Grad and was reading Nancy's lastest post today about California home, and clicked on your name because you're from Kansas and I am too! Ha. Live in Omaha now, but it's weird to have anyone from Kansas know about Mercy. Was searching your site and saw this--It's amazing what God can do. Actually most of the girls that have a huge heart for Mercy and want to work there found out from Point of Grace or Girls of Grace Concert. Then it becomes a dream that never ceases. I just wanted to encourage you today to not let that dream cease! Also, I see you wrote this Nov 7th, which was about a year ago. I actually went into the Nashville home Nov 11th, 2008. I just missed you I suppose, but I think it's amazing how God can just wink at you when you least expect it. ;) Thanks for your heart and helping the girls! It means a lot.
